Brian D. Welch, CPA

Brian D. Welch is a certified public accountant with over 30 years of experience. His professional career includes 2 years in the office of Arthur Anderson & Company in St. Louis, Missouri; 6.5 years in the Tax Department of Hallmark Cards.  In November 1997, Brian started Welch & Associates, a firm whose core service include auditing, accounting, taxation, and management consulting for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Brian is an accomplished tax advisor with experience preparing income, payroll, property, and sale/use tax returns. Brian performs tax planning and research relative to the tax effect of transactions. He also represents clients before taxing authorities.

As a Senior Tax Analyst for Hallmark Cards, Brian demonstrated his capacity for preparing tax returns, performing tax research, and developing tax audit strategies for the international company. Brian developed a broad range of business experience while working with the diversified business interests of Hallmark Cards, from manufacturing and distributing social expression products to family entertainment media. Brian’s successful tenure with the corporate conglomerate is a resounding testimony of his professional expertise.

Brian earned a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science - Major in Accounting from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale. He received a permit to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in 1990. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants  (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).

Aamir joined the Firm in August 2008 and has over twenty years of professional accounting and auditing experience; two years with an international accounting firm, nine years in corporate accounting departments at international companies.

His experience with the Firm includes developing audit plans, performing audit fieldwork and supervising the work of assistants. He is also responsible for researching complex accounting, reporting, and auditing issues.

Professional Credentials

Aamir earned a Master of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Karachi and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the Government Premier College in Pakistan. He received a permit to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in 2004.

Rashanda Fuller

Rashanda joined the Firm in May 2015 and has over 16 years of professional auditing, accounting, and tax experience; 13 years with a Fortune 500 company and the last 7 years with the Firm.

Her experience with the Firm includes preparation of business, non-profit and individual tax returns and conducting tax research. She is also responsible for developing compliance audit plans, performing financial and compliance audit fieldwork, supervising the work of assistants, and monitoring all audit engagements.

Rashanda earned a Master of Business Administration from Baker University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Missouri State University.

Jennifer Jester

Professional Experience

Jennifer originally joined the firm in January of 2009 and returned to the firm in August of 2017. Jennifer has over 14 years of professional auditing, accounting, and tax experience: two years in accounting at an international private company and 12 years in public accounting, including 9 years with the Firm.

Her experience with the Firm includes developing audit plans, performing audit fieldwork and supervising the work of assistants. Industries Jennifer works with include non-profit organizations, for-profit businesses, and employee benefit plans.  As a part of our client accounting services practice, she also assists clients with general ledger maintenance, grant administration, financial reporting, and audit administration.

Jennifer Earned a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She received a permit to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in 2010.
